Wildfire Resilience Training Exchange
At the American Wildfire Experience (AWE), we value the vast experiences of wildland fire practitioners worldwide, and the potential for growth and learning that arise when these stories are shared. Our Wildfire Resilience Training Exchange facilitates such opportunities for leadership development, skill sharing, and expanding perspectives by bringing together highly accomplished fire professionals and experts. This exchange is by invitation only, an exclusive and invaluable chance for selected individuals to connect and learn from one another in an environment of shared passion and commitment to global fire safety.
Selected participants are responsible for obtaining the appropriate nonimmigrant visa to enter the United States. The American Wildfire Experience (AWE) will provide a letter of invitation confirming the temporary nature of the training and participants’ continued employment or engagement in their home countries. AWE will assist with travel arrangements to and from participants’ home countries to facilitate timely return following program completion.
We will host one International Wildfire Resilience Training Exchange in 2026, located in beautiful Kyburz, California, USA at AWE’s headquarters.
